Does your furniture fight back?

Microsoft Surface is all over the Web in sexy looking videos and slick advertising material, however there's very little information in actually working with it from a Development perspective. With such a powerful unit, it's not all that surprising, working with Microsoft Surface is quite expensive setting the barrier to entry for developers very high.

Whilst at MIX we were lucky enough to run into Dr Neil Roodyn who told us that he would be delivering Microsoft Surface training whilst in the UK, and he very kindly asked us if we'd like to attend the training as he's aware of the kind of work we do for our existing range of clients and thought it may be useful.

Obviously we jumped at the chance to attend and get involved with such a powerful and sexy platform.

Our expert trainer Dr Neil Roodyn, will be taking us through many areas of Microsoft Surface ranging from architecture to vision recognition.

The picture shown here is a photo of the training room that we'll be using for the Surface Training with the Surface units all set up and ready to go. It should be a very interesting couple of days that we can bring back into the business and begin to offer our clients new experiences on the Microsoft Surface platform in addition to Silverlight, WPF and ASP.NET which we currently develop for.

Touch based computing is a future that's here today, Microsoft Surface might be it. Windows 7 certainly will be.
